MEMBERSHIP

The Kuranda Media Association Inc. (KMA) was established in 1991 and is a not-for-profit voluntary association that produces The Kuranda Paper. Advertising revenue from The Kuranda Paper enables the KMA to provide this community resource, which supports local community groups and projects.

Objects of the Association: 

To provide a platform for open communication in order to promote community engagement and reflect the ongoing aspirations of the residents of the Kuranda area. This includes a submission-based independent community newspaper and other media platforms that align with our vision — all administered through this organisation and financially supported through local business advertising. This model allows the organisation to support community groups, projects and causes, as well as raise awareness of environmental, community and social issues within the Kuranda district.

KMA membership is only $10 per person and runs from 1 December to 1 December each year. Download our membership form, complete it, make payment and return via email or mail. Details on the form.
